Success Story — “Nehemiah had God’s Favor!”

It all begins with taking ownership of the situation. Nehemiah heard of the difficulty that his people were going through back in Jerusalem. His heart was broken for God’s People. However, Nehemiah was just getting started. He worked as a servent for a Persian King and had access to resources.

First, he mourned, grieved, fasted and prayed to God, first for forgiveness, then he prayed for God to forgive His people and deliver them from the warring enemies around them. Then, He asked God to give him favor with the Government, a tyrant King named Artxerxes.

God heard Nehemiah’s heart and gave Him favor. He turned Nehemiah into a leader of his nation, and Nehemiah, under God’s Authority and Power, led the strategy, organization, and rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem. Then all of the tribes of Israel gathered together and celebrated what God had done.
